Pathanisation - Supporting Pashto on GNU/Linux

Pathanisation is a FOSS related project run by volunteers who contribute to the project in their free time. One of the two main goals of the project are to localize free software to Pashto and to develop free Pashto software.

The project relies on voluntary contributions only. New volunteers are always welcome to the project.

Our Primary Goals

Localize free and open source software:

We are currently working on translating/localizing free software and desktop environments (GNOME, KDE, etc.) to the Pashto language.

 Develop free Pashto software:

We are also working on developing free Pashto software. Our intention is to help develop and maintain open source/free software targeted towards the Pashto speaking users.

 Develop free Pashto fonts:

We are also working on developing free Pashto fonts. This project is named as "Lekhbanne". Lekhbanne (Lekh Banne) is the Pashto term for fonts.
